S.01
Custom web applications
Software written for the work your organisation already does. We map the journeys, permissions and records, then build a web application that carries them — rather than asking staff to bend around a generic product.
This is the centre of the studio: custom web software with a clear owner, a clear data model, and an interface that can be used on the devices people actually have.
When is a custom web application the right tool?
When off-the-shelf software forces workarounds, duplicate records, or a different process on every team. If the brief is a genuine operational flow, custom is usually cheaper over the life of the system than stitching five tools together.
Do you build public-facing products as well as internal tools?
Yes. The same full-stack approach applies to staff systems and to web applications used by customers, members or partners — the difference is access, not the discipline of the build.
S.02
Cross-platform web development
One product, several surfaces. We structure multi-platform web apps so behaviour stays consistent in the browser, on phones and on desktops — a shared core, not a fork for every viewport.
Cross-platform here means engineering: authentication, data and interface rules that travel. It does not mean shipping three unrelated applications and calling them a suite.
Is this native mobile, or the web?
OFFLIST LIMITED is a web development company. We build responsive, multi-platform web applications that run in the browser across devices. If a brief truly needs a native store app, we will say so rather than stretch the web past its useful point.
S.03
Full-stack web development
Interface, API, data and deployment treated as one system. Full-stack, in this studio, means the person arguing about a button is also responsible for the record it writes.
That keeps custom web applications honest: fewer gaps between what the screen promises and what the server will actually do.
Do you hand over the codebase?
Yes. A custom web application we build is yours to run and extend. Handover includes the structure required to operate it — not a demonstration that only works on our machine.
S.04
Responsive web applications
Layouts that recompose. Responsive work here is not a stylesheet afterthought: it is how forms, tables, navigation and empty states behave when the viewport, the input method and the network all change at once.
S.05
Cloud-based web apps
Hosting that is part of the architecture, not a later surprise. Cloud-based web apps from OFFLIST LIMITED are designed to be available, observable and cheaper to evolve than software trapped on a single office machine.
Do you manage hosting after launch?
We can set up, document and hand over a cloud environment, or remain involved under a separate arrangement. The application is structured so it is not dependent on a private ritual to stay online.
S.06
Scalable web solutions
Structure for more users, more data and more features. Scalability is decided in the data model, the way services are split, and the discipline of not hard-coding today’s team size into tomorrow’s product.
We will not promise infinite growth. We will design a web application that can be extended without pretending a rewrite is a release.
S.CLOSE
If two of these are the same problem, that is usually the brief.
Most organisations do not need six separate projects. They need one custom web application seen from several technical angles.
